Poe Society of Baltimore Saturday 'Visiter' Award-winning, Harvey and Eagle Award-nominated comic creator, writer, editor and publisher, Dwight L. MacPherson, has been one of the most prolific writing professionals in the comic industry. A longtime advocate of webcomics, digital media, and the use of comics in the classroom, Dwight’s work has been published by DC Comics, Image Comics, IDW Publishing, and several others. He is a recipient of the 2019 Maker of Note award from The Lakelander Magazine. He was also an expert speaker for the U.S. State Department’s global online comics program, AE Global Comics. Prior to his writing and editing career, MacPherson served 14 years in the US Army as a Combat Medic and Medical Supply NCO. He was medically separated from the military after suffering an injury during a training mission.
