Dwight is a 27-year veteran of the Dallas Police Department with leadership positions in patrol, Vice, Physical Evidence, and even the SWAT team. He ] sat on the DPD pension board and currently is the Vice President of the Dallas Retired Police Association. After retiring from DPD he was in the private sector for 16 years as the Director of Client Services for a bond investment firm with over $15b in assets under management. Dwight has been a member and elder at Eastridge Church of Christ for over 20 years. He resides in Rockwall with his wife, Jan, and enjoys spending time with his grandsons.
