Business Development Manager
CurrentDrive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement and proposal delivery to negotiation and deal closure. Prospect types: Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Family Office, Venture Capital, Fund Admins. Incorporate consultative approach to sales, to have meaningful conversations with prospects about business challenges and requirements, to present solutions and cost benefitsDevelop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basisCollaborate with inside sales & marketing to develop outreach and prospecting strategies, including hosting and attending industry – related events.Work with technical staff and product specialists where required to address customer requirementsCultivate strong relationships with third party and partner companies that may be required to deliver full solutions to customersProvide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputationProvide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offeringsIdentify sales support requirements and work with marketing to develop sales toolsBe a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace
