As a Technical Co-Founder and integral member of the UKCloud team, I was responsible for driving the company’s technical strategy and developing several services, including VMware, Cross Domain, and Secure Remote Access.I reported directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and collaborated extensively across the organisation to align technical efforts with broader business objectives.

I initially joined to introduce Unix based managed services, and was involved in recruiting and mentoring the teams to support these services. I was responsible for assessing, evaluating, designing, implementing, and maintaining new technologies, systems, and architectures required to support Attenda services. This included Cloud Infrastructure, Shared Storage, Shared Backup, and Linux Managed services.

As a Systems Administrator for a business-to-business ecommerce provider, I was initially responsible for the installation and maintenance of hosting arrangements, hardware, and software. I also ensured the continued availability and performance of the company websites. Later, I led a small team reporting to the CTO with responsibility for the department budget.
