My primary responsibilities in this role include administration and support of the college's Student Information System (SIS), management of the EGCC IT Support Center (IT Help Desk), and development of our mobile application for iOS and Android (EGCC Mobile).Student Information System (CampusCloud SIS) Responsibilities include...- Primary point of contact for all SIS related support and system administration.- Configure and maintain all custom features of the SIS to support all functional departments including Academics, Admissions, and Financial Aid.- In partnership with the Financial Aid and Registrar’s Offices to support data integrity and data maintenance activities and bulk processes.- Build custom SQL reports on demand for staff and utilize APIs to execute batch updates to student records as requested.- Oversee all SIS integrations including attendance and grade reports from the Canvas LMS, Parchment transcripts, Badgr/Canvas Credentials, and PowerFAIDs.EGCC IT Support Center Responsibilities Include...- Supervise the IT Help Desk Team including hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and evaluation.- Ensure students contacting the IT Help Desk receive a high level of customer service and support through tools including live listen-in, chat transcripts, and recorded calls.- Monitor IT performance metrics, SLA targets, resolution times, and user satisfaction results.- Maintain KB articles and canned responses for analyst training and response efficiency.- Compile and present month-end reports to the CIO/COO and broader IT team.Mobile App Development (EGCC Mobile) Responsibilities include...- Develop and maintain both iOS and Android versions of the EGCC Mobile app for students.- Added enhancements including a news feed, degree plan, student holds, a schedule Home Screen widget, watchOS support, ledger card with balance, academic progress report, honors, and a digital student ID among other features.
