    I worked as the Auburn, IN Plant IT.+ Created and maintained the Plant IT budget for both the plant and mixing divisions. I created the line items, maintenance plan renewals, and also budgeted for capital expenditures.+ Worked with, setup, and repaired all PC's, terminals, IT equipment in Rep Presses, Symbol Scan Guns, Intermec Barcode printers, Repnet Database Terminals, and more.+ Administered the plant cell phones / air cards, as well as ordered and repaired. Was 1 of 3 Account Admins for ALL North American locations. + Lead IT projects for the plant. This included budgeting, time lines, writing the appropriation requests, and making sure time lines are realistic and in line with our business requirements.+ Created, managed, maintained the Plant SharePoint. My layout was used for every location's SharePoint site.+ I worked with contractors and developers to bring all unsupported software under a support agreement. This was an important task as there were many custom written software packages that were business critical and not supportable. + Worked to create / develop Custom operations and applications for business needs based on customer requirements and cost saving initiatives. For example, we moved to an "In-cell" manufacturing style on the shop floor (for the injection molding operations of the plant). I developed a solution for the cell stations. + Created and implemented a plan for updating the Plant network infrastructure. The network was in bad shape when I was hired in 2007. I spent a couple years bringing the network up-to-date. There were 13 IDF's (plus 2-3 small additional phone hubs). All 13 had to be revamped from cabinet to all Cisco switches. The electrician and I ran new cable (removing old Cat 3 cabling), revamped every closet (replacing cabinets too small for newer Cisco switches w/ POE), and replacing old Cisco 2950 switches with Cisco 3560G w/ POE.+ Setup all plant desk and IP phones (Avaya).
