Tripp West is a Civil Project Leader with Cypress Engineering in Summerville, SC. His responsibilities include providing project management and design support for multiple civil site / land development projects. His goal is to make a positive impact in the communities where he lives and works through sustainable and responsible site design and permitting. Outside the office, Tripp enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his growing family. Prior to joining Cypress Engineering, Mr. West focused primarily in civil infrastructure and private development projects and his experience includes grading and drainage design, wastewater collection and water distribution system design, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, permitting, and preparation of construction drawings, technical specifications, design reports and presentations, construction administration, MS4 program compliance and training for private, local government and utility agency clients.Mr. West has also lived internationally, serving as an Intern Civil Engineer with Engineering Ministries International in Atenas, Costa Rica for a seven month assignment completing designs for a seminary campus located in Urubamba, Peru.
