For instance, many AI-assisted products leverage commodity machine learning infrastructure from AWS, Azure, or Google, differentiating their offerings primarily through a thin layer of custom code, which is often organizational in nature and has a low barrier to entry.Being a technology leader today requires a fundamentally different mindset. It demands a keen awareness of emerging disruptive technologies and the ability to leverage them effectively without being disrupted. Additionally, it involves selling innovations both within the organization and to external customers.Failure to implement changes in a timely manner can lead to significant erosion of market share within just a few years. Mediocre leadership often resembles poor leadership, as the margin of victory is razor-thin.
