- Call customers to make sure cargo is ready to be loaded on board vessel.- Ensure that all documentation is received timely as required by governmental agencies, including hazardous declarations.- Check documents, make necessary corrections and distribute them to corresponding governmental agencies in time to meet their respective deadlines.- Prepare Hazardous Cargo manifest.- Prepare Loading Guide.- Confirm the accuracy of Loading Guide with Stevedoring.- Receive final Loading Guide from Stevedoring, ensuring the short/shipped cargo is properly handled.- Create files with TIR, bills of lading (BL) and Shipper Export Declarations (SED) and system enter.- Coordinate with the Raters for additional charges.- Send documentation to Credit & Collections for release/hold of cargo.- Verify that cargo is properly released by governmental agencies.- Coordinate spot/pick-ups with dispatch and customers. Release cargo to Dispatch via computer.- Inform customers of any delays and/or damages.- Coordinate to keep other departments (i.e. Terminal & Operations) involved/abreast of status of shipment.- Close all vessels within the timeframe provided by Customs.- Final verification of documentation.- Secure original bills of lading properly endorsed, final destination verification, plus any additional charges prior to release.- Coordinate spot/pick-ups with dispatch and customers. Release cargo to Dispatch via computer.- Coordinate with operations transfers of damaged cargo/equipment.- Obtain authorization from customers and call a surveyor to be present.

Individual to be a resource, responsible to coordinate export trafficking functions, data entry, and document distribution duties associated with customer export shipments through BDP. Interface with accounts, and maintain customer relations.1) Order Processing: Receive documents and initiate logging process, confirm data received is in compliance with all US Custom requirements, process all documents in accordance with requirements, coordinate cargo availability and arrange pickup and delivery, and finalize billing and distribute documents as required.2) Shipment Status reporting: Review daily monitoring reports, ensure all measurements standards are met, and proactively report non-conformances.3) Maintenance: Ensure all tables complete and current, assist in accounting issues, perform RFI/RFQ as required, and ensure all communications are prompt and content is correct.
