For the military I managed and applied corrective actions on hardware and software, as well as reported and corrected security violations on a network that supports over 6000 users. I completed my job very efficiently by thinking outside the box, staying calm under high stress situations, and by finding a passion for fixing problems. My primary purpose in this job field comes from being able to help a customer and make their day better, and seeing issues get resolved and my hard work paying off.Currently I am a full time cybersecurity engineer, building my scope of knowledge in the field of cybersecurity and achieving new certificates as I go. These duties entail monitoring networks and machines for many companies. I take an active approach at monitoring for incidents, and implement policies to prevent incidents. During an incident I perform incident response which can include securing the environment and machine, analyzing the machine, analyzing html code, performing mail traces, and much more in order to contain the incident as much as possible and stop it from spreading. I am also taking on projects such as implementing new Zero Trust software on devices and configuring them appropriately to allow for normal work functions.
