Current● Established and led a team of 7 GNC engineers, coordinating efforts to enhance simulation accuracy and drive mission goals● Designed and built a 1-DOF simulation in MATLAB from the ground up and led the development of a 3-DOF MATLAB model, ultimately overseeing the creation of a comprehensive 6-DOF Simulink simulation to achieve precise trajectory and control predictions through phased fidelity improvements.● Designed and implemented a high-fidelity 6-DOF rocket simulation using Sandia Labs’ TAOS software, incorporating aerodynamic data from DATCOM, and meeting multiple times with a TAOS developer to ensure accurate modeling.● Led worst-case scenario analyses to ensure compliance with flight restrictions, optimized fuel mixture, fill targets, and burn time, supporting an FAA submission.● Directed development of controllers for Reaction Control System (RCS) and Thrust Vector Control (TVC), including PID tuning for the TVC system, enhancing stability and trajectory control throughout flight.● Engaged with senior aerospace professionals from various companies for insights on GN&C systems, simulation fidelity, and industry best practices.
