In 2 summers at Sands Companies, I was able to gain experience in many areas of construction. I started in the pre construction stage creating material takeoffs for subcontractors to bid out. I spent time on site training under the superintendent’s building production homes. To finish up the internship I spent time in the office under the project management team creating change orders, ordering material, generating payment application’s, and writing contracts for subcontractors.
