-Assisted with all stages of natural resource permitting with the CDFW, USACE, and RWQCB for projects in California’s Central Valley, Sierra Nevada foothills, and eastern Sierra regions. -Conducted protocol level species surveys for blunt nosed leopard lizards, San Joaquin kit fox, western pond turtle, Swainson’s hawk, nesting birds, and bats.-Used UAV (drone) systems to perform mapping, surveillance, and utility infrastructure survey tasks for biology and land survey teams. Used Pix4D and and other software to collect and process imagery to create orthomosaics and various 3-dimensional data sets. -Observed and monitored species in the field for construction projects.
