Innovative approach using advanced clustering techniques and natural language processing to uncover frequency & severity analytics where there is a lack of claims and loss data.> Predicting Private Company Exit with Time to Event Prediction (w/survival analysis) (21/22):Designed and developed a solution for stakeholders to not only provide IPO exit event predictions but combining this with time-to-event predictions for private companies. Using the SEC S1 filings as a benchmark the system identified 90% of these companies as highly probable IPO prospects. Using this tool, stakeholders eliminated over 90% of inaccurate leads for IPO related products, giving back more time for actual prospect engagement.

> Custom-Built Rules Based Scoring System (2020/21)Designed and developed a system that automatically applied a large set of rule to a vast dataset to generate scores for various insurance products. This completely removed the manual process used by stakeholders, providing them with a more efficient use of time and removing restrictions on opportunities. > Litigation Prospect Detection System Powered by Twitter (2020/21)Created a system based powered by twitter and NLP, capable of identifying highly probable litigation prospects. Provided stakeholders with a label along with a probability indicating whether or not to pursue that prospect. Similar to other projects this removed the manual aspect of the process and boxed it up into a scalable product. > Impact of Food Recalls using Social Media (2020/21)Research piece focusing on the ability to mine twitter to identify food product recalls, the impact on the brand and a timeline describing core events for that specific recall. > Identify Change in Status for Chief Financial Officers Using SEC 8-K Filings (2019/20)Data mined the SEC filings and applied a number of NLP techniques to extract CFO status changes for companies. This was part of a larger project and was used to understand the health of a company, providing the insights to various stakeholder groups.
