During my degree of environmental management and sustainability I learnt how to create professional reports that required dedication to meeting the set deadlines and more importantly the ability to filter through the vast amount of material relevant to the report, selecting that which was superior to elaborate on. Most of my modules focused on the science of conservation and management strategies currently used to protect the environment but optional modules I chose to take specialized in legislative compliance, background logistics of a project and the public image of said management strategies which make me excel in a coordinating role for these projects or as a bridge between stakeholders and the project workers as I can relay information easier for their understanding. My degree also had a number of fieldwork projects which versed me in sample taking and lab work. Many of these were done in groups where the results would be made into a scientific presentation which gave me teamwork and presentation skills.While at university I was a treasurer for 2 societies which required me to handle the financial aspects of the society including how to gain funds and allocation of said funds.
