With almost a decade of experience supporting individuals living with dementia, mental illness, and other cognitive impairments, I am dedicated to enhancing care and advocacy in the Yukon. Through my work within the Health and Social Services branch of the Yukon Government and collaborations with local NGOs, I focus on creating compassionate, person-centered support systems. As a member of the Behavioural Care Resource Team, I develop and implement strategies to improve quality of life for residents in Yukon Continuing Care and provide education to staff and caregivers supporting loved ones living with complexity. Additionally, as a Board Member for the Canadian Mental Health Association Yukon Branch, I contribute to strategic planning and governance to strengthen mental health services across the Territory. I am honored to live, work, and adventure on the Traditional Lands of the Yukon First Nations.
