Hello, I’m Dylan Blair, a results-oriented professional with a passion for optimizing supply chain processes and driving business growth. I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.B.A. in Supply Chain Management and a collateral in International Business, where I gained a solid foundation in industry best practices. My education, combined with the university's prestigious ranking of 3rd among all collegiate Supply Chain Management programs, equipped me with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the field.Upon returning from studying abroad in Australia, I sought opportunities in logistics firms where I could create tangible value. I was fortunate to land a role at Mohawk Industries as a Supply Chain Associate management trainee. During my tenure, I honed my skills across various departments including customer service, pricing, planning, international logistics, and special projects. Rotating through these roles provided me with a comprehensive understanding of how each function contributes to the overall success of the supply chain. I learned firsthand the importance of effective communication and collaboration across departments.After a successful first year at Mohawk Industries, I made the decision to return home to be closer to my friends and family. I joined the Carlstar Group as a corporate supply planner, where I spearheaded the development of a new process to coordinate and schedule orders for AG and specialty tires. This initiative led to a more transparent and fluid process, significantly increasing productivity and reducing quality claims and safety incidents.During the challenges posed by Covid-19, I took on a contract role as a logistics coordinator for the Advanced Care Group. I developed an efficient route planning system that saved both time and money for the company and its Nurse Practitioners.Seeking new challenges, I pivoted to the real estate industry, obtaining my license and joining Westwood Property Management, a family business. In my role, I wear multiple hats including HOA property manager, realtor, and general contractor. I focus on developing and implementing innovative processes to drive growth and better serve our clients.I thrive in dynamic environments where I can leverage my diverse skill set to overcome challenges and drive meaningful change.
