Crocodile capturing• Removal of problematic crocodiles using live-hold traps from lower Shire River near communities. Law Enforcement• Deployment of law enforcement officers to various sections of the reserve. • Involved with the K9 unit training with tracking, bite work, laser targeting and long range patrols with the Eco Defence Group (NGO).

Cheetah monitoring.• Daily monitoring of rewilded Cheetah. • Give daily updates and keep monitoring records. • Photograph Cheetah. Fences. • Maintain fences around section of reserve – daily duty. • Assisted with building of predator boma designed for cheetah. • Attachments of Solar Panel, energizer and regulators. Water points.• Updated checks on points and fixing of water pipes if there was an issue. Clearing of scrap metal Recollaring of: • Cheetah• Lion (involved with vasectomy on a male lion). • White Rhino (De-horned Rhino as well as replacing collar). • Elephant.Vegetation surveys. • Objective grazing capacity measured for the Karoo. • Did veld surveys in 5 different vegetation types. Game capturing. • Captured over 200 animals. • Eland, Oryx, Red Hartebeest, Plains Zebra and Black Wildebeest. • Released Blesbok and Springbok into 300 ha camp. Transect ground game count. • Counted all mammal species from the ground to help estimate population on reserve. Solar water pump. • Installed a solar water pump at Spring Grove (Staff Accommodation). Solar systems. • General maintenance of solar panels at Spring Grove. • Cleaning of batteries and inverter. Rhino supplementary feeding. • Feeding White Rhino lucerne during the dry season in the Karoo.
