It is a 5 story concrete structure and I have been building this job from the ground up. On this particular building, I handle everything from ordering concrete, to coordinating deliveries, to coordinating crane activity, to managing/coordinating all scopes of work, running coordination meetings, etc. Before Toyota, I was assigned to various small healthcare projects at Dallas Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. I was responsible for managing and coordinating all areas of work, with not only our subcontracts, but with hospital administration as well, on various projects ranging from $500k-11 million. The majority of the work I ran while assigned there consisted of renovations to existing patient floors in which I built out a behavioral health unit, a hospice unit, a skilled nursing unit, and even a Chick-Fil-A in the main hospital cafeteria. I also assisted in the finish out of the Texas Oncology Cancer Center on that same campus.

Assistant Superintendent InternAustin Commercial Dec 2013 - Sep 2014Dallas, Texas, UsDuring this internship, I was assigned to the New Parkland Hospital project in Dallas, Texas. I was working under the superintendent of the 250,000 square foot area in which I was assigned and was responsible for helping to coordinate and manage our subcontractors, and their scope of work. Some of these scopes included building out the trauma and emergency departments that housed over 100 patient rooms, 10 trauma rooms, and 4 MRI rooms. I also assisted in the completion of several lobbies, cafeteria, kitchen, chapel, and a stone feature wall.

Welder/FabricatorAspen Demolition Construction & Industrial May 2012 - Aug 2012I used a mig and arc welder to build frames for 12,000 pound casting forms. I also welded various smaller projects for other customers, which included belly pans for conveyor belts and supports for chicken coop trailers. While working with Aspen I was also responsible for building R-panel walls with pearling cross members and steel headers. I worked at various saw mills in the East Texas area fixing conveyor belts helping their efficiency.

Heavy Equipment OperatorKiewit May 2011 - Aug 2011Omaha, Ne, UsI safely operated heavy machinery working on the night shift with a grading crew in low visibility. The machines I operated consisted of 40 ton haul trucks, bull dozers, various rollers/compactors, and excavators. I was responsible for hauling material to and from the cut and fill areas in the most efficient and safest way possible for our crew to obtain the maximum amount of loads possible during each shift. While on the dozers, I was responsible for stockpiling the material I received accurately and quickly to maintain the highest level of efficiency. I was also responsible for accurately staking out future cut/fill areas using the "rover" GPS unit. While working for Kiewit I was assigned to the "DFW Connector" project in Grapevine, Texas.
