Deputy regional manager on the Telkom Mobile Huawei Managed Services project for the Western and Eastern-Cape regions.Manage all the Regional Field Maintenance activities to ensure smooth operation of the Network (this includes all telecom, microwave & day to day activities of Field Maintenance ). Take end to end responsibility for the Region by providing good leadership, supporting team members, managing the subcontractor, communicating & cooperating with other departments.The following are my Main Functions as deputy regional manager but not limited to1. Field Preventative MaintenanceDo Preventative Maintenance (PM) review and approve/reject in OWS.Do regular quality check on the PM reports to ensure quality of work.2. Field Corrective MaintenanceDo regular corrective maintenance FME’s reviews and ensure FME’s are utilized and the project is running efficiently.Driving all the faults in the region to ensure SLA is met.Ensuring customer complaints is prioritized and cleared within a reasonable timeframe.3. Vandalized Sites RepairManage the detailed Vandalism process in the region.Drive and manage Vandalism documentation. Plan/Schedule Vandalism repair and ensure Customer requirements/priorities are met. Plan spare requirement for Regions. Co-ordinate vandalism spares with Platform team.Ensure quality Vandalism repairs are done.4. Spare Parts / WarehousingWorking with the spares department to ensure all spares are available and shipped accordingly to the regions in order to reduce the MTTR of the faults.5. Manage Customer expectations6. Reporting on above tasks7. Manage all the Regional Quality and EHS(Environmental Health and Safety) activities ensure smooth operation. Providing good leadership, supporting team members, especially the Regional Manager, communicating & cooperating with other departments.
