As a Physical Education Teacher at Newburgh Enlarged City School District, I am passionate about promoting physical, mental, and social well-being among students and staff. I recieved a Master's degree in Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy from Manhattanville College, where I learned the latest research and best practices in the field. I have over 4 years of experience in teaching and coaching. Which also includes a year as a Teaching Assistant at Felix Festa Middle School. I have developed and implemented engaging and inclusive physical education curricula that align with the state standards and the school's mission and values. I have also facilitated mindfulness and wellness activities and workshops for students and staff, enhancing their self-awareness, resilience, and positive behavior. I have strong skills in education, mindfulness, wellness, communication, collaboration, and leadership, and I am committed to continuous learning and improvement.
