• Managed commuter shuttle programs supporting distribution facilities with total ridership of over 50,000 passengers per month. Recommended changes to the shuttle program to maximize operational and financial efficiency. Achieved cost savings of over $3 million on shuttles in 2021 through route and schedule revisions, fleet right sizing, and avoidance of parking lot leases.• Designed new shuttle routes by analyzing associate location data using ArcGIS to improve the usefulness and accessibility of the shuttle system as a whole. In 2020, new shuttle routes designed through this process had ridership of over 150,000 trips.• Managed the competitive bidding processes for 8 new shuttle programs in 2021. Served as the main point of contact for prospective vendors during the bidding process. Act as the main point of contact during shuttle operations to resolve daily operational problems.• Tracked shuttle performance data and create and distribute monthly reports to the client. Introduced capacity utilization as a new performance metric that allowed the client to make more confident decisions on fleet reductions. The client used this data to reduce the vehicle hours in service on two shuttle programs by 22% and 16%.• Supported site launches by leading early outreach to transit agencies to request service. In 2021, 15 new facilities launched with transit service.• Served as the main point of contact between Amazon Ops and public transit agencies in markets where the client has a large presence. Provide timely communications on changes in shift times and headcounts to ensure good transit service.• Managed rideshare programs using Lyft and Uber to support sites where the number of associates needing commute support did not justify a shuttle program, and assisted sites in making that determination.

San Diego National Wildlife Refuge Complex

• Updated the San Diego National Wildlife Refuge Complex multi-modal transportation plan.• Served as liaison and official U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service representative for coordination and management required to implement several ongoing projects at the Complex.• Assisted the Refuge Manager in early-stage planning efforts to design and construct a parking lot and trailhead facilities at Millar Ranch Road using Federal Lands Access Program funding. Project was successfully completed in April 2021.• Worked with Refuge staff and key partners to pursue grant opportunities to construct an electric vehicle charging station in the visitor center parking lot.• Researched, organized, and documented grant opportunities to fund transportation projects to improve access to the Refuge Complex. Presented staff reports on these opportunities to Senior Planners and Refuge Managers.• Participated, as part of the FWS representation, in the planning meetings with key stakeholders (county, local neighborhoods, bicycle advocacy groups, etc.) related to implementing secondary priority projects.
