I am a Senior Engineer with over 7 years of experience in the field of maritime design, and several more years in buildings services and other trades. My experience in my current industry covers all project stages, from requirements analysis, to preliminary and detailed design, through to shipyard production support. As the 2IC within the electrical team at AMT, I am also responsible for the development of our more junior staff, as well as the hiring of additional engineers to support our growing business. I am also responsible for business development, and quoting on projects brought to our attention. Most recently, my role has centred on onsite production support. First with the ANZAC Frigate Systems Upgrade, where I was the electrical design liason onsite in Victoria, BC, Canada in 2019-2020. Now I perform a similar role for the RAN Arafura Class Offshore Patrol Vessels being constructed in Adelaide and Perth. Skilled in both project and staff management, as well as client liaison, scheduling, budgeting, procurement and contractor/subcontractor management on a variety of projects within the maritime industry. Proven track record in completing complex designs under strict timeframes and within budgetary constraints while maintaining high quality outcomes.
