Throughout working here there were various tasks that I carried out. The majority of my time I would be carrying out labour intensive tasks such as moving around car parts, installing car parts that require a basic level of knowledge and helping to preform MOT's. This would involve using the computer system to log the cars into the database and then helping to find any issues with the cars that come in.I also had duties dealing with customers. I would sit in the reception and greet any customers that would come into the business and then help them with their enquires. This would usually mean taking their keys off them if they have already booked an appointment. If the customer hasn't booked an appointment I would have to look at the log book and find a suitable time to come back to get their car fixed.

During my time working here I had three main duties. These were: taking customers drink and food orders, delivering the drink and food to the customers tables and then taking the customers payments. Doing this gave me the skills to be able to communicate with customers effectively and to learn the payment software.However, due to the business being understaffed there were other duties that I would have to carry out to ensure the business was operating effectively. This included making drinks, cleaning the tables and floors.
