I started in the construction industry in 2017 as backman on a CCTV truck, helping inspect sewer, storm and some fresh water lines from northwest PA to Virginia Beach. Eventually taking over as a crew leader on a CCTV truck, doing manhole inspections, flow metering and sewer weir tests. After about 5 years of working and learning I became an inspector for Mott Macdonald under DC Water as part of the CIPERR lead water service replacement program. Overseeing the contractors working to replace lead water services all around the Washington DC area. After about a year, I began working for Delon Hampton, in Baltimore City as an Inspector, watching over crews installing new water main and services. I started with Gannett Fleming in February 2023 as an Inspector I on WC 1257 in Baltimore, overseeing several contractors working to replace water main and services in the Hampden area. In June of 2023 i was offered the position of Resident Engineer/Inspector for the same project. After accepting the title, we got to work right away with getting everything caught up that had been neglected and turned everything around in about a month with help from the city. This project was finished and placed into conditional acceptance in April '24. I have entered the CMIT program.
