I perform calculations and analysis on all structural systems such as, hull plating, pressure hull framing, tanks, inserts, bulkheads, decks, foundations and control surfaces. I also develop technical work documents, CAD drawings, and reports to support ongoing work at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as well as a number of yard locations. I utilizes the MSC One suite of software such as MSC Nastran, Patran and Apex to conduct analysis.
