I am a recent graduate of Coastal Carolina University (B.A. in Political Science), and the majority of my work experience centers on research, public administration, and non-profit work that includes: grant writing, assisting individuals with financial and education needs, and data entry/analysis. During my undergraduate years, I served as a research assistant with the Dyer Institute for Leadership and Public Policy - focusing primarily on transportation-related surveying and immigration policies at Coastal Carolina University. I also taught introductory-level political science courses as a Teacher's Assistant (T.A.) during my senior year. Upon graduating, I was offered the opportunity to serve a one-year term as an Americorps VISTA member with United Way of Greenville and LifeLong Learning. I am currently contracted with Americorps until August 2017. Most of my work with the organization varies from administrative assistance/capacity building to grant writing and volunteering throughout Greenville County.
