Was recruited with a specific brief of providing timely and proactive financial and strategic advice and assisting in the management of the project implementation of a backwards vertical integration move by the company to set up a new company CK Foods Processing Ltd to process from raw material state cheese which was one of the major products which the CK Fast Food Suppliers supplied to the fast food industry.Also to prepare accounts for 3 group companies CK Fast Food Suppliers Ltd, CK Foods Processing Ltd and CK Property (UK) Ltd and liaise with auditors at year end.Responsible for all aspects of Financial Control including Monthly Management Accounting.Maintaining the proper recording of transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting principles (GAAP) and coordination and production of accurate and timely financial reports within established time constraints.Preparing period end financial statements to be put into final published accounts format by third party accountants/auditors.Providing for adequate monitoring of accounts receivables/payables including timely collection from all customers and payments to suppliers respectively.Providing sufficient training of accounting personnel to ensure and efficient and effectively run accounting operation and responsible for supervision of accounting department in the maintenance of accounting records and preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.Complying with Companies House and HMRC regulations regarding the filing of financial information and acting as official Company Secretary.Participating in the development and execution of plans and policies for the company including strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting with senior management.Identifying opportunities within the normal course of work for the company to improve the efficiency and/or effectiveness of its operations. This lead to me being asked to cover for him more often.
