I was born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana to a loving family of musicians. With their perseverance and smooth talking, I began my musical journey playing violin at the age of six. Jumping forward, after becoming proficient with a few other instruments, I discovered the world across from where I'd been my entire life. In my quest to understand how sound worked, I became infatuated in how professionals got music to sound the way it does in both live and studio contexts.Moving to Denver in 2018 to further my career in audio, I took the reins of my education at the University of Colorado Denver. I'm currently a senior, finishing up my bachelor of science in audio engineering. Learning the ropes in a professional setting has been difficult, but my time at Side 3 Studios really helped me jump-start that process, and I'm now doing even better at Get Busy Livin' Studios.My training includes extensive work with analog gear, understanding of SSL consoles, signal flow for live sound as well as for studios, theory and application in mixing, and a mastering process geared toward optimizing songs on every streaming platform. I am proficient in every major DAW: Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Ableton, and Fruity Loops.
