CurrentAs the Network Administrator at FBISD, I am the single person in my role responsible in managing and optimizing a Cisco enterprise network. My primary focus lies in the meticulous handling of Cisco IOS , including the 9300x, 4500x 3850x and 2960xr series switching, as well as wireless equipment such as the 9800 and 5508 (WLC) and 9100’s and the older 2702-3702, 3602 and 2802-4800 series access points. This involves not only configuration but also continuous fine-tuning to ensure optimal performance.Within the realm of Cisco technology, I excel in working with firewalls and routers, ensuring robust security protocols are in place. Managing, adding or upgrading to dual fiber 10g links between all networking devices, is a key aspect of my responsibilities, involving constant monitoring and troubleshooting to maintain seamless connectivity.Addressing the nitty-gritty of networking challenges, I specialize in resolving data drops and maintaining network endpoints. My proficiency extends maintaining and updating/ backing up Network devices, Cisco ISE, enhancing the network's security posture/integrity.Beyond networking essentials, I bring a wealth of experience in installing security cameras and other networking devices. Additionally, playing a crucial role in server maintenance within the networking context, ensuring that the backbone of the system remains robust and reliable.Involved in the entire lifecycle of networking equipment, from initial installation to ongoing patch management and updates. This includes introducing new equipment into the network, strategically racking hardware, and maintaining a meticulously organized networking infrastructure.In essence, my role goes beyond routine administration; it's about crafting a resilient and high-performing network that forms the backbone of FBISD's technological ecosystem.
