- Used machine learning to teach a four-legged robot how to walk and squeeze through tight spaces - Developed analytical models to predict the movement of a four-legged soft walking robot- Designed a quadruped robot with 3D printed soft, flexible legs capable of navigating over unstructured terrain, squeezing through tight spaces, and walking underwater against flow- Developed pneumatic valves to control the soft-legged robot without requiring electronics or a battery- Built a soft robotic gripper capable of complex manipulation tasks such as unscrewing a lightbulb and opening bottle caps
