Hello there! We are Dylan and Marike du Plessis, the owners of Common Ground Collective. We love stories, Jesus, people, traveling, good coffee, our two Shih-Tzu babies and each other. Common Ground was born in November 2018 in a Pretoria coffee shop after working in the music and video industry for more than 7 years.​Nice to meet you! We're the faces behind the cameras and PC screens and we are ridiculously in love with stories.Stories are common ground.They have power to move us, change us, empower us and inspire us.They open our eyes to see that "us" is so much bigger and better than "I".​We believe in collaboration with other creatives to share stories in the most memorable and excellent way, be it through videography, editing, animation or photography. Our heart is to breathe new life into the media industry, and to make things personal again. We're not just another media company. We choose to do things differently and share content that makes a difference.
