During my semester there, they focused on the issues surrounding utility shut offs. •Attended community activist meetings across the state, shadowed my intern coordinator at these events. •Served as a phone operator and would answer clients calls. Would copy down information about the client and hand over that information to my superiors.•Would also contact members of the George Wiley Center about upcoming meetings.•Oversaw court hearings and utility division hearings for individuals testifying having their power shut off.•Designed video for the George Wiley Center describing their goals and values.
