As a research assistant at the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs, I assisted with various agricultural research projects, helping to gather data, using critical thinking and problem solving on the research sites, and inputting the collected data into excel and other data collection platforms. I also assisted and helped to plan events such as the Eastern Ontario Crop Diagnostic Days and Southwest Crop Diagnostic Days.
