Current• Providing professional guidance services, including consultancy to partner organisations, in order to improve clients’ skills, knowledge and understanding for career planning and management.• Providing information, advice and advocacy that assists clients in making informed decisions, encourages learning and sustains them in appropriate education, training and/or employment.• Providing clients with access to suitable opportunities, advocacy or supporting services and other related learning and career outcomes. • Using assessment tools and techniques in order to help clients identify any barriers to their effective engagement in education, employment and/or training.• Using a range of tools and skills to support work with clients, including one to one support, delivering interactive group sessions and presenting information using a range of digital technology.• Developing and delivering high quality learning and development activities.• Preparing young people for key transition points in their lives.• Inspiring and motivating young people to make positive steps towards fulfilling their ambitions.• Making clients aware of the skills required to succeed in an ever-changing labour market.• Generating and maintaining client records and reports in support of the career planning services they have received, including summary of any agreed actions.• Contributing to the development of skills and future economy of Wales.• Remaining ever compliant to confidentiality and data protection laws.• Promoting and providing equality of opportunity, including working within a fully bilingual society.• Collating and analysing statistical information.• Remaining self-managing in order to prioritise activities.
