Brisbane Martial Arts was my first experience in the workforce and really nurtured my customer service abilities. My role was to take classes of kids through self-defense techniques and to promote the development of social skills. The potential age range of the students I taught was from ages 4 to 18. Whilst working for The Tutti Frutti Van at the Eat Street Markets, I gained many valuable skills. This was my introduction to working with and around kegs and beer lines. Additionally, I further improved my ability to give excellent customer service and insinuate workplace incentives via up-selling certain items. It was a great introduction and stepping.

At The Prop House, my responsibilities were to assist in the installations of hung decorations, help monitor the safety of the riggings, and be available to further benefit the project in any means necessary. My role mainly included working on the sites of the Orion Shopping Centre, Springfield and Queen Street Mall, Brisbane CBD. This was a Christmas.
