Dylan is an experienced Surveyor and has a broad range of experience in most areas of Building Surveying which includes contract administration, project management, dilapidations condition surveys and building pathology.Dylan began his building surveying career with Capita Property and Infrastructure in the Blackburn office and oversaw several refurbishment and extension projects in the education sector. Other duties included buildings surveys, dilapidations and party wall issues. He also surveyed several of the local authority’s listed buildings and historic assets which involved the assessment, planning and supervision of appropriate works to historically sensitive assets. In January 2015 Dylan joined the Liverpool office of CBRE Ltd which forms part of the North West Building Consultancy team. During his tenure at CBRE Dylan worked on a number of prolific local buildings including the Royal Liver Building (Grade I listed) and the adjacent Tower Building (Grade II*). Dylan worked for a number of clients including Birchwood Park, in Warrington a large multi tenanted business park where he provided proffesional and project management services.In June 2018 Dylan relocated to North Wales and has joined the Caernarfon Office of Wakemans Limited, joining a small but experienced team working in the North Wales area.Dylan holds an MSc in Building Conservation at the University of Central Lancashire and is an Affiliate Member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC). Dylan oversaw the restoration of Blackburn Library, a late 1920’s building in the art-deco style.
