Hello, my name is Dylan Fetherman. I am currently a Production Supervisor at Coherent Corp. I have been apart of the company since 2017 and started as an operator in the clean room. I worked my way into a process technician role after being with the company for a year and with the help of my associates degree in Electrical Engineering. I was in that role for 4 years and during that time I was apart of a team that implemented a new way to handled our product which greatly increased our yield by seeing a decrease in breakage due to handling. Last year I was given the opportunity to interview for a production supervisor position and I can proudly say that I was offered the position and have been in that role since March of 2022. I take great pride in my work and always go above and beyond of my job duties often volunteering to take on tasks that the company needs done in order to meet our needs. Hard work is something that has been engraved into me from a young age through watching my parents work hard and long hours to provide a wonder life for my siblings and myself. Attendance is something that is very important to me as I do not like missing work because I know people are depending on me each day I am scheduled to work. I am a very detailed oriented person and always make sure things are done correctly. If I am unsure of how to do something I go out of my way to find anyone that will able to help me find the information I need so I can complete the task that needs to be done. I am proud of the work that I do and I have the confidence in myself and my abilities that I can excel at any position I find myself in.
