I was part of the Process team and the Training team, which allowed me to teach others and to direct in broadcast productions.

I worked with Dr. Darrel Sonntag, a professor in the Civil Engineering department, to collect and analyze data about vehicle emissions in Utah County. I used roadside equipment to collect data from over 10,000 vehicles and developed a process to import that data into Microsoft Access to improve our data processing and analysis.

I worked on a student construction crew maintaining waterways, pouring concrete, and doing general maintenance around the construction yard. As part of my job, I also learned about the water infrastructure that serves Los Angeles.
