Collaboration with Dr. Frank Garmon from CNU's Center for American Studies on the research and publication of various articles surrounding Civil War and Reconstruction history. We utilized the John Tyler Jr. Papers held in the Special Collections Archive at William and Mary's Swem Library to find letters pertaining to the elections of President U.S. Grant and President R.B. Hayes. The research process consisted of many hours spent at the archives and well over 40,000 words transcribed.

During my senior year of high school, had an internship with the Liberty High School World Language Department. The internship involved me sitting through various language classes, learning about each teacher's teaching style, creating promotional material for each language offered at Liberty, and speaking with incoming freshmen about the opportunities and career pathways that open when pursuing a language.
