Progressed to Events and Marketing Assistant at University College Birmingham, an award-winning institution, receiving the University of the Year 2022 award. The university prioritises the widening of participation in education to meet the diverse needs of students providing award-winning support. In this role I was responsible for implementing large scale public events to sucessfully drive recruitment for the organisation. My key responsibilities included; the creation of effective digital marketing campaigns, stakeholder relationship management and engagement, financial administration, events planning and management.

Worked with UniConnect, a government-funded initiative through the OfS, aligning with national social mobility goals by boosting higher education participation among underrepresented youth. Employing strategies such as mentoring, workshops, and school trips, the programme's outcomes are research-backed and adhere to Gatsby benchmarks, enhancing career provisions for students.

Represented MSF, an international NGO committed to providing medical care to those affected by war, natural disaster, and epidemics. During my time with MSF I was responsible for consulting suitable donors that share the aims and passion of MSF. Here I developed my interpersonal skills, ability to negotiate, experience with vulnerable members of society, logistical experience, public speaking and presentation skills.

During my time volunteering with CoachBright I was fully responsible for tutoring two secondary school students, in which I prepared and conducted lessons tailored to their strengths and weaknesses. The aim of the work was to demonstrate (through a combination of encouragement and guidance) the very real possibility of higher education that is achievable for all children. CoachBright works alongside children from low income households in order to stimulate and encourage them to explore the infinite possibilities for their future.
