CASA Multi-Service Router product is a software Network Operating System (NOS) built on top of Open Network Linux utilizing ONIE bootloader to install CASA control-plane and switch programming software on open networking hardware including EdgeCore Broadcom QMX based products AGR100 and AGR130 (48 x 10G, 6 x 100G) as well as EdgeCore Q2C based products AGR400(4 x 25G, 22 x 100G, 4 x 400G) and AGR420(64 x 10G/25G, 10 x 100G).Led the MSR project with 8 team members in Andover, MA office to deliver functionality for the following features: L2 ToR, VLAN, LAG, MC-LAG, IRB, MPLS L3 VPN, VRF-Lite, VPLS/VPWS, Port channelization, BNG (PPPoE, IPoE, QoS), ACL, Lawful Intercept, IPv6-PD, IPv6 Neighbor Discovery, IGMP/MLD.Contributed software architecture focusing on allowing for portability between vendor whitebox platforms and allowing for varied control-plane APIs utilizing abstraction layers for API and chip programming as well as leveraging Open Network Linux hardware abstraction layer for SFP/Power/Board Control.

Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting & analysis of system level issues by leading the resolution of critical customer issues. Became one of the primary points of contact and developed a reputation for resolving customer issues quickly.Contributed route distribution/synchronization code to 14RU CMTS platform responsible for synchronizing IPv4/IPv6/Neighbor/MPLS FTN table information to all linecards handling linecard failure/switch management module (SMM) failure, failover, and bringup scenarios. By packing routing updates and implementing multicast to all linecards along with sequence numbers for failure scenarios, achieved 20K updates per second to all linecards, improving the performance from previous 200 updates per second.Lead developer for moving Broadcom SDK programming for SMM XGS from kernel module to user application, improving system stability. This involved modifications to route update logic, kernel net device TX/RX integration changes, and IPC changes.
