About Dylan Goodman
I'm a Transportation Planner for the Pueblo Area Council of Governments Metropolitan Planning Organization (PACOG MPO). I graduated with a Bachelors in Political Science and a Minor in Russian Studies. I'm a strong believer that humans are shaped by our environment just as much as we shape the environments around us, if we want to build a productive and prosperous society then our living spaces must reflect these goals. For this reason I became a transportation planner. I am proud to be working in a field dedicated to shaping our public spaces and reorienting American cities towards a more holistic and people-oriented approach to land use and transportation. I have experience working on a variety of different projects including policy writing and analysis, transit planning, multimodal and active transportation planning, and community engagement. My role has put me in contact with people of all walks of life and given me important insight into the complex mechanisms which drive local government and policy decisions, and the importance of balancing what's best for a community with what's politically and economically feasible. Through active community engagement and close collaboration across departments and local governments I hope to help my city build itself towards a sustainable transportation model.Looking forward to connecting.
