I enjoy business. I hate selling myself. So here are 300 words about myself and my experiences.Dedicated - While in 4H (Youth development program related to agriculture and STEM) for ten years, I participated in various community service projects and team-building exercises. The most impactful community service project that I helped with was cleaning the town park; I lead my club in executing the cleanup by designating small groups to certain sectors of the park. At the end of the day, the park was cleaned and provided the community with a safe and clean environment. Innovative Thinker - Ever since I was six years old I enjoyed raising chickens on the family farm. After several years of raising the standard breeds I decided it was time to change up the chicken market, that is when I began the process of researching and developing a breed that not only produced lots of eggs but also produced meat. The process was complex as there were many trials and errors that I had to overcome. Once I mastered the perfect breed I was able to successfully turn my hard-work into profits by selling the eggs and meat to family members and locals.Goal-Orientated Leader - Whether it was coordinating my Quizbowl team in fourth grade or leading my ALDI Case group through our project, I have always been drawn towards the leadership role. With this role, I have been able to better my communication skills and being able to collaborate successfully with my peers. As a leader, I develop a game plan that is capable of changing when something unexpected occurs, and I make sure that the goals for the team are aligned well with our values. It's this role of a goal-orientated leader that will propel me in a career as a business consultant.
