Mechanical Designer:Responsible for designing and creating new models in Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD, drafting associated drawings, and incorporating them into the company storage system, Vault. Oversee management of drawing revisions, and keep logs to ensure drawing packets are up to date before reaching manufacturing.Project Fabrication Estimator:Identify scope of work from Request For Quote (RFQ) from customer, and determine fabrication (in shop) costs for potential projects. Communicate with install/construction department to determine ways to make the project progress smoothly in the field as well as in the shop. Serve as the point of contact for the customer to ask or answer questions, clarify potential design specifications, and provide project cost quotes.Project Manager:Once a project has been purchased, take responsibility for turning in the final scope of work, driving project schedule, solving issues that surface over subjects like technical specifications, scope changes, delivery issues, supply chain difficulties, and any other problems that might derail a project schedule. Communicate with construction department, engineering, and management to ensure every member on the project team is updated with the correct project information. Be sure that all needs of the customer are met, and that they are satisfied with the product they are receiving.
