I am a recent arrival to the tech industry, at the time of writing this I am celebrating my 3rd anniversary at Rendered.AI and only my 4th year in tech. Before that I worked retail at Fred Meyer which was a great experience in being part of a friendly team and getting to work with customers, but the effort was too much for the returns; I felt I could apply my skills better in a new field. I was fortunate enough to be able to go back to school full time at Bellevue College and got a degree in application development. My first opportunity out of school was an internship at Rendered.AI (back when it went by DADoES) and after a year I was hired on and am now one of our main developers and am part of another great team and this time the impact I have is definitely worth the effort.
