I acquired a Bachelor's Degree in Meteorology at California University of Pennsylvania in May 2016. While at CalU, I worked as a lead cook at a local restaurant where I developed strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skill. After Undergrad, I attended the University of Maryland for my MS in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science. I worked as a Teaching Assistant for an Introduction to Weather and Climate Class and Research assistant my second year. My research paper utilized the WRF model to determine surface cooling rates of asphalt within the precipitation-type transition zone of a complex winter storm with warm air aloft. I developed an accumulation-type algorithm which allowed for hydrometeors to change phase on contact with different surface-types, particularly related to hazards with travel. Post-graduate school I began a career with the Network Control Facility (NCF) for the Advanced Weather Interactive Processing System (AWIPS) as a System's Engineer/Administrator. After leaving Raytheon, I started my journey in self-driving with Uber ATG as a triage analyst. ATG later merged with Aurora through an acquisition and I began to specialize in perception test analysis. After developing subsystem expertise my skills were broadened to a more system-level and behavioral focus as I was promoted to a test engineering role and later to a systems engineer within the System Test organization.Today, I work with systems engineers, developers, and leadership to ensure behavioral tests provide proper coverage and fidelity. I am passionate about apply analytical methods to ensure test results are easily understandable, durable, and of high-quality.
