Researching in the area of Battery modeling, estimation, and control. Working to make batteries safer, more energy efficient, and accessible. Studying under professor Scott Moura at the Energy Controls and Applications lab (eCAL-https://ecal.berkeley.edu/)

Course Description: Graduate level crash course on machine learning, control of dynamical systems, and their overlap. Topics include machine learning, reinforcement learning, and their applications to modeling and controlling dynamical systems.Responsibilities: Conducting a weekly discussion session where student implement new techniques in python. Two weekly office hours. Student course project mentorship.

As a GSI, I was was in charge of mentoring a team which built a portable microgrid. Additionally I also helped students learn tools for prototyping cyber-physical systems. This included 3D modeling, Arduino, and sensor/actuator integration.

As a GSI I helped teach students about different methods of optimization and how they apply to various fields in civil engineering. These methods included linear programming, quadratic programming, nonlinear programming, mixed-integer programming, and dynamic programming.
