I love creating innovative approaches and exploring new opportunities for treatment delivery which will create new business for WDP outside of integrated substance misuse service contracts.

I manage the alcohol treatment service and lead on development of treatment relating to alcohol dependence and brief treatment for alcohol misuse more widely. We deliver a service with structured pharmacological treatments for alcohol dependency, psychosocial treatments including a stabilisation group programme and abstinence-based group programme as well as primary care based counselling and brief lifestyle counselling in the hub clinics. I lead on prescribing for the service (as a non-medical prescriber) and as the CQC registered manager for the service. My role involves supervision of staff, leading on service quality control, prescribing service activity, innovation in treatment delivery with related project management as well as wider clinical governance input.
