I was born in Essex, UK and am currently studying at The University of Kent. By doing this Bachelors Degree in International Business (BSc), I am working towards being able to fulfil my dream of travelling for work and being able to take part in and understand many global cultures different to my own.I have experience being employed for a FTSE 250 company in SSP, working in a franchise store as a team member for 2 years before the store was refurbished and became a Starbucks in the winter of 2023. Despite being offered training to become a team leader with the company, I had my sights set on education.I have a great affinity towards different eastern cultures as I find some of the contrasts to my own experience growing up in the west interesting. I am currently learning Mandarin, though perhaps not yet to the level needed to communicate professionally with clients.My future career goal is definitely to be working with data. I love data and the stories it can tell, I enjoy manipulating data in order to gain a greater understanding of the world and especially creating visualisations with software such as Tableau. I have undertaken some projects in Excel but I'm always looking for more data that I can work with.
